Untraditional Winter Wedding

Just when I think I’ve seen everything, in steps Ashleigh and Ethan, declaring ‘we just want our wedding to be fun and relaxed’, combined with their vibrant colour scheme, (which is unconventional for Winter weddings, and I love it!). This really set the tone for a party atmosphere on their big day.

Wedding Ceremony at Rosedew Farm

Rosedew Farm offers a blank canvas in their barn, with lime-washed walls, you really can do anything. Ashleigh and Ethan chose to decorate the barn with the most magnificent flowers by The Dancing Daffodil, teamed with a bright pink and orange signage by ‘Day Dreamer Creative Studio.’ It made for the most perfect backdrop for the ceremony and wedding breakfast.

South Wales Wedding Barn

We got to use the whole venue during this Winter day in November. The cottages were perfect for getting ready in the morning. The barn was the spot for the ceremony, meal and celebration! Other areas of the venue were used for drinks and indoor games, while we also took advantage of the grounds for confetti and photos. We even got to sneak away to the beach for a quiet moment. We truly experienced it all. Rosedew Farm is versatile and expansive, the ideal setting for a vibrant Winter wedding.

Fun Wedding Day at Rosedew Farm

The vibe for the day was fun. Ashleigh and Ethan really offered this in all it’s forms. Did you see the cute doggies? One of my favourite moments of this entire day, that really made me laugh out loud, was during couple photos. We decided to get some walking shots of the bride and groom, and Eden the dog. As I’m giving a prompt, Eden stops in front of Ashleigh and Ethan and decides this is the perfect moment to go for a wee. While I did think ‘Should I take a photo?’ The laughter said it all, and it’s these hilarious, real, authentic snippets that I adore. Whether it’s moments with a pet, or drinking games with friends, or an uncle doing limbo. These fun wedding moments are what make a day.
