35mm Film Wedding Photography
I always try to fit a piece of something I love into a wedding day. Whether it’s bringing my Polaroid camera and taking instant photos of my couples, or capturing some of their wedding day on an analogue camera. 35mm film wedding photography has a special place in my heart. It takes me all the way back to the moment I fell in love with photography; Back as a student in a dark room thinking, this is what I want to do with my life. I want to be a photographer!
Analogue Photography
So how does it work? Everything is digital these days right? Well, yes. But there’s something beautiful about capturing these fleeting moments on film. I love that analogue film is unique, there’s no perfection when it comes to 35mm film wedding photography, but the imperfections, the grain, the light leaks, simply feel more authentic. So, while I still shoot the whole day on my digital camera, I do bring a Polaroid or 35mm camera along for different parts of the day. The film then gets developed and scanned so there’s a digital copy and a negative reel of film.
