I’m a movie nerd, a confetti lover and the enthusiastic girl behind the camera. I’m a relaxed Cardiff wedding photographer and I’m all about joyful and authentic wedding photography.
Although I’m based in Cardiff, I travel everywhere, UK and abroad. I’m often in South Wales, where I’ve spent most of my life (there’s no place like the Gower coastline!) the same place I graduated with a BA (hons) in photography.
I’m a lover of cinema and film from romcoms to crime detective films. One of my all time favourite films is ‘Housesitter’ with Goldie Hawn (I flipping LOVE her!)
Movies became a huge part of my life when I worked in a cinema in my hometown Swansea, as a Projectionist many moons ago. I would handle film, ‘lace up’ projectors and watch every new release that came in.
As a conversation starter when working at the cinema we had our favourite film on our name badge. It’s been my go-to conversation starter ever since. (check out my contact form.)
Film and TV are a massive influence to my photography, from framing, colour palettes, perspectives you name it. Tarantino, Edgar Wright to Wes Anderson and Ben Stiller, I love them all.
Another thing about me, this girl loves to travel. I love visiting new places, meeting new people and seeking inspiration. My two favourite places I've visited (so far) are Marrakech and Venice and I fell in love with the Neon Museum in Las Vegas. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Americana vibes.
My dream day off would either involve a sightseeing day around Burano; I’ll never get bored of seeing the colourful homes, (If it’s your favourite place too, I wouldn’t have to think twice about shooting a couples shoot or wedding there!) or if we’re chatting a local day, it would involve a walk to the seaside, an afternoon drink around Cardiff Bay (a strawberry daiquiri, if you’re asking), and an evening trip to the cinema with popcorn.
