Glyndwr Vineyard Wedding Photography

A Summer wedding day where I got to capture the most beautiful wedding photography at Glyndwr Vineyard (if I do say so myself). The wedding day started in the most perfect AirBnB in the centre of Cardiff. It was like it was made for a wedding morning, a place to hang outfits, clean and tidy.

Then Beth and Patrin’s ceremony took place in Cardiff City Hall. This was the Summer when we still had restrictions so limited guests were allowed to witness the legal ceremony. However this only meant for the most wonderful entrance at Glyndwr Vineyard. As the newly weds drove up the drive, guests waited ready to shower them with rose petals. It really was an incredible way to make an entrance.

Cardiff Wedding

Glyndwr Vineyard’s ground are simply incredible. On this hot Summer’s day, guests got to enjoy a fun and relaxed day. They got to spend time in the grounds, drinking Summery cocktails, play garden games and chat to each other. Guests wanted to have fun and be merry. The perfect combination for any wedding!

In order for Beth and Patrin to enjoy the day fully, we kept the formal photo list short and sweet. We chatted about capturing photos with key people which then allows me more time to spend on informal and more documentary style photography. I adore capturing candid style photos, I think it really shows how a day feels. And this day was flipping fun with a capital F.

We used the whole vineyard as a backdrop for photos, from the bridge to the flower beds to the vineyard itself. The day was so warm that we broke up couple photos (fifteen minutes before food and fifteen minutes after) this is something I suggest with lighter evenings too. If you’re also blessed with a golden hour, I’ll always suggest a few extra shots.

 Glyndwr Vineyard Photography Review

So pretty much this wedding day at Glyndwr Vineyard was a dream to photograph. Topped off with the most wonderful testimonial after sending over sneak peeks the very next day. Here’s what Beth has to say:

β€œOh my goodness Michelle. I mean.. words cannot express how thankful we are (actually I think my tears yesterday probably said it all). It goes without saying that you were more than just our photographer. You were an a organiser, a brilliant photographer and our biggest cheerleader.

In fact, I have multiple notes in our guest book addressed to you personally saying how wonderful you were. You were the talk of the town yesterday and today. You put everyone at ease and really just became part of the family for the day. Your photos have made us laugh and cry (alot!) And for that I am eternally grateful. I can't wait to see the rest.”
