De Courceys Manor Wedding Photography
This was my first wedding at De Courceys Manor and it did not disappoint. I knew this wedding was going to be flipping awesome after capturing Mia and Iwan’s pre wedding shoot. They chose a ridiculously beautiful location on the cliff tops of Three Cliffs Bay and were so much fun that I could not wait to capture their wedding day here, at De Courceys Manor.
The whole day was fun and relaxed, I started with photographing the girls during bridal preparations. I always love this part as I get to know who everyone is and their relationship to Mia the bride. One of my favourite moments was when Mia’s Dad saw her as a bride for the first time. I started crying myself, it’s such a special moment to capture. And this was such a beautiful reaction.
De Courceys Manor Wedding Venue
The ceremony and reception took place at De Courceys Manor and we got to enjoy an afternoon and evening in the sunshine. My approach is for wedding photography to be fun and relaxed, however I am honest. If you want photographs, you have to put them time in, and Mia and Iwan did just that. After photographing the bridesmaids and groomsmen I said ‘you can go back to the drinks reception now, we’re all finished’. I couldn’t quite believe it, they all stayed to watch what I was doing with the bride and groom. I’ve never met such an enthusiastic party before. The guys and girls were so helpful rallying up guests for photos. They were such a massive part of the day and made it such a joy to capture creative wedding photographs of them.
As the sun came down and before evening guests arrived we headed down to the lower part of the De Courceys Manor grounds and captured a few more couple portraits. They then danced the night away with the help of their band ‘Soul Lotta Funk’.
An amazing wedding from start to finish. I didn’t expect anything less from Mr and Mrs Jones. Thank you for being amazing collaborators. De Courceys Manor, thank you for being ridiculously helpful, I can’t wait to be back and capture more weddings with you.
